This world is so messed up. We write more music. Our own lives our messy and within a year span, we’ve lost loved ones, felt the weight of our community’s back to back natural disaster with job loss. We write more music. Forget the energy that has been about funding building the wall at our border. We’ve all managed to build so many personal walls already, that many of us can’t even see anyone else’s pain or differences. We write more music. Political discomfort is at every dinner table and fear of the future keeps us from actually living today. We write more music. Families are broken from ignorant words constantly spoken. We write more music. Some individuals face the biggest fears in quarantine. Domestic abuse being one of them. This season has been tender, to say the least. Stay strong and dig deep.
